Wellbeing Days and Events

You are invited to join us for a day of Yoga, Mindfulness and Self-compassion at The Hall at Marthall in Marthall, Cheshire on Sunday 7th June 2020 from 10am-4.30pm. The cost of this day retreat is £65 and this includes a delicious vegetarian lunch (vegan options also available), freshly made smoothies, all drinks, healthy snacks and home-made cookies! Please contact me if you are interested in attending. We have held similar events throughout 2018 and 2019, and received excellent feedback on all aspects including the teaching, the venue, and the food! More details can be found by clicking the 'Day Retreat' button on this page, or via email.

If you cannot make this date, we are running another similar day at the same venue on Sunday 1st November 2020 - save the date! We build on different themes each day so you are welcome to attend more than one, but equally you do not need to have had any experience of yoga or mindfulness to take part. Come and see what it's all about and enjoy some well deserved 'YOU' time!

Speaker Events

If you are looking for a corporate speaker that's a little different, please contact me. Having worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years at a senior level, I am confident speaking to large or small audiences about the benefits of mindfulness and yoga and how they can help people thrive in the business environment.

Drop-in Classes

From time to time I will be running ‘drop-in’ mindfulnes classes on from my home in Woodford, near Stockport, Cheshire. These last approximately an hour and typically include a seated, lying or movement based meditation followed by a short discussion in a small group. You do not have to sit cross-legged on the floor (though some people choose to) – many people sit on chairs and this is absolutely fine. However, please be aware there is a short flight of stairs up to the room we use to practice in, so these sessions may not be suited to people with mobility issues.

There is a suggested donation of £10 for each session and 50% of the money raised is shared between three charities: St Anne’s Hospice, Macmillan Cancer Care and CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).
